Most of you know me as the other half to Brown Magic Paint Co.~
Which of course I am-and very proud of that! Myself and Mando are both so passionate about having our own little business! For me one of the coolest things that's spawn from having my own business has been sharing all the in's and out's of whats going on! I really love being able to share that part of what we do with you all! So blogging was just something that was pretty natural for me to get settled into! I love it!! I love reading other ppl's blog's too!!!!
On that note, we do have a lot going on but some how we manage to keep it together for the most part! This is Chuko!!!
Handsome fella right?!? He hails from East L.A.- California and has been kicking ass and breaking hearts since 1987! He is an artist true-blue-all the way! I met Chuko last year when I first opened a Facebook account, we chatted here and there~ya know nothing major. My life took a huge drastic downward turn some time in September-2010. Stranger things have happened but long & behold when I felt all hope was lost-he was the one that came to my rescue. I can happily tell you my life has never nor will it ever be the same. In all positive ways!!! He is one of the kindest souls i've ever had the honor of calling ''my friend''. He is humble, kind, generous, honest, funny, creative, unique and very passionate about his life and all he does. Trust me-it shows!!!! Chuko is what I call a dream maker-most set goals and have dreams. Not him he says things and makes them happen!!! I know from experience that nothing gets in his way and he is always the first to pick himself up ''life'' gets thrown at him! He is always is there for others too!I am so honored to have him a part of my personal life and business! I know Brown Magic Paint Co. would not be as successful as we are, if it were not for Chuko! He's generously helping us and providing his amazing services! I stole some of his precious time earlier today to ask a few questions! Here is a peek into the life of the one and only extremely talented & amazing Chuko Zoot Suiter!

~A little Chit Chat with the Man himself~
Dottie:How did you get the name 'Chuko Zoot Suiter'?
Chuko:Well it as many years ago back in my high school days. That is when I first discovered that my Grandpa had been an original Zoot Suiter!
If looks could kill we'd all be dead! Sharp dresser with class! This man can dress!
Dottie: What inspires your style?
Chuko: My name/style go hand in hand. My Grandfather inspired my name like I told you but also it was music. Mambo and Swing were very influential in the way that I began to dress & carry myself.

Dottie: When did art become a part of your life?
Chuko: Well there is not one person in my family that is artistic or has any artistic roots. I can honestly say it was something I was blessed with since I was born. Its really crazy how different I am from most of my family. Art is my passion-I can not see myself doing anything else in life.

Dottie: What are the main mediums of you art?
Chuko: Well of course Tattoos, I am a freelance tattoo artist. I went to school and have a degree in graphic design. Also I am a air brush artist-I paint cars whenever I have the chance. There are many others but we can save that for another day when I can get more into detail!

Dottie: How did you get involved with tattoos?
Chuko:Well...mmmmm let me think.... Actually it was about 12 years ago to this day/month! Pretty crazy right?!? I had walked into a tattoo shop one afternoon, next thing I knew I became friends with everyone at the shop! Six months later there I was buying my first tattoo gun/kit. The rest is history!

Dottie: These days what is your main occupation?
Chuko: Tattoo Artist & Graphic Designer. Zoot Suiter too!

Dottie: What is in store for you this year? any big plans?
Chuko: Well I always have things i'm working on or projects up my sleeves. One of my main goals for this year working toward having an art gallery here in Los Angeles.
But of course! Chuko is very proud of his East L.A. Roots!
Dottie: Are there any other artist/people you collaberate with? or want to collaberate with?
Chuko: At the moment I do collaborate with Brown Magic Paint Co.! But you knew that already Dottie! I enjoy all the graphic design work I do for you guys! Since the first logos we did together to now where i'm graphic designing the logo you both came up for me. Thanks-I love it very much! I was very shocked when I saw the special tattoo gun case you guys made me! I can not wait to put my new tattoo gun in there! Again Thank you! We work so well together! I do enjoy meeting and collaborating with other artist on a variety of levels!
